Etodolac 300 mg, identified by the imprint A0429, is a prescription-only oral medication belonging to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class. Dosage & Administration

Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Warnings & Contraindications

Cardiovascular Risk: Increased risk of serious cardiovascular events like heart attack or stroke, especially with long-term use or in individuals with existing heart conditions.
Gastrointestinal Risk: Potential for stomach or intestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation, which can be fatal. Risk is higher in older adults and those with a history of ulcers.
Contraindications: Not to be used in patients with:
- Allergy to etodolac, aspirin, or other NSAIDs
- History of asthma attacks or severe allergic reactions after taking NSAIDs
- Undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
- Late-stage pregnancy (after 20 weeks)
